Once you receive your candle, you do not need to trim the wicks. I have already trimmed them to the correct length for enjoying! Use a lighter, matches or a fancy electric lighter to light your wicks.

Believe it or not - wax has a memory! Make sure that you burn the candle long enough that the wax pool reaches the edges of the antique vessel. Depending on the type of wick or wax, this can take a while - so be patient & enjoy! If you blow the candle out too early, the size of the wax pool around the wick(s) will tunnel next time you light the candle and ruin your candle (and experience).
