Reduce Waste & Creatively Re-use Your Antique Vessel
The antique vessel that your candle was in, had a previous life, purpose and admirer. I love finding unique antiques to give a second-chance to be cherished and enjoyed. I encourage you to think creatively on how you can re-use your candle vessel to meet a new purpose in your space. I’ve shared a few ideas below.

Clean Your Antique
Before you can re-use the antique for it’s new determined purpose - you need to clean out the antique vessel from any remaining wax and wicks.

Take a butter knife and run it across the bottom of the antique to break up the remaining wax. You should also be able to lift the wick. Toss left over wax in the garbage.

Run hot water and fill the antique vessel with hot water. Let is soak.

Once the antique has been soaking with hot water, put clean soap on a dish rag or sponge and wash out the vessel like you would a dirty dish.

Dry the antique out with a soft towel or allow to stand dry on the counter.
